Joseph Eschenberg was born in 1957 in Ridgewood New Jersey. He grew up in the Thousand Islands on the St. Lawrence River in northern New York State. In his late teens he moved to Long Island New York. Joseph received his BA degree at Adelphi University and went on to purchase a printing company. He is a self-taught artist, graphic designer & photographer. The experience that he gained as a graphic designer and photographer has led to an eclectic style of art. His life experience thus far has led to improvisational and direct action in the arts. He fuses together paint, photography and construction material for many of his projects. Eschenberg’s work never stands still, re-creation is a normal process.
